SHAKESPEARE AND FRIENDS

For both GCSE and A level we have created an online webinar course featuring actors, speeches and context to help you better understand your GCSE and A Level texts.

Perhaps you want to know what Macbeth is thinking at a particular moment in the play, or what the historical context is for the world of Rome and Egypt in Antony and Cleopatra. Our webinar series contain character and context work for several plays, including tasks.

To order, email info.turnofphrase@gmail.com with the play you want and we will send you a link to all the videos. There are four or five videos per play. We will be adding more plays soon, but if you’re a school wanting a tailored webinar series then please email us. Videos are only shared with email addresses given at point of purchase.

UNCONSCIOUS BIAS WEBINAR SERIES

Whether you are a business or school, there is always work to do on unconscious bias. It is at the heart of the work we have developed at Turn of Phrase. In this webinar series, we look at what unconscious bias is, and hear on the different ways of thinking about it.

PREPARING FOR DRAMA SCHOOL WEBINAR– VOICE, BODY AND TEXT

In this webinar series we work with our actors to explore what is involved in a drama training. In thinking about which pieces to choose for audition, to unlocking the text and preparing the body and voice for work, this webinar series is a great way to find out more about what a conservatoire training is like.

With increasing focus on film and television, there is also work on self-tapes. Live one-on-one work is also available but must be booked by a parent/guardian with ID confirmed.
